How Internal Admin handles platform, customer, and CRM texting data, and how responsibility is split between Internal Admin and the businesses using the platform.

Internal Admin provides software tools that help businesses manage operations, customer information, and customer communications. This Privacy Policy explains how Internal Admin handles information when businesses use the platform, including CRM texting features.

When a customer receives a text message through the platform, the sender is the business the customer interacted with, not Internal Admin itself.

1. Information We Collect

Internal Admin may collect and process customer contact information, including names and phone numbers, along with message content, order history, account activity, and technical usage information when businesses use the platform.

We also process customer and operational data that businesses store in Internal Admin in order to support workflows such as CRM texting, order management, payroll preparation, reporting, and customer history review.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the Internal Admin platform, support customer communication workflows, maintain communication and operational records, improve functionality and reliability, and protect the platform from misuse or security issues.

When CRM texting features are used, Internal Admin may process customer phone numbers, customer history, and message content in order to help businesses draft, review, send, and track SMS communications.

3. SMS Messaging and Consent Responsibility

Internal Admin provides software and messaging infrastructure to businesses that use the platform. Those businesses, not Internal Admin, are responsible for obtaining any legally required SMS consent from their customers before sending text messages.

If you receive a text message through a business using Internal Admin, that business is responsible for the customer relationship with you, including opt-in collection, message practices, and the decision to contact you.

Internal Admin does not independently collect SMS opt-in directly from recipients on behalf of client businesses unless a client explicitly implements such a process through its own customer workflow.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, messaging, analytics, security, and infrastructure vendors.

We do not share customer information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the platform, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information processed through the platform. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Your Choices

If you receive SMS messages through a business using Internal Admin, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a message.

You may also contact the business that sent the message to update your communication preferences or ask why you were contacted.
